How do I get started?
I offer free 15-minute phone consultations so we can talk about what's bringing you to therapy and make sure we're a good fit. It's a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Just reach out through my contact form, and we'll set up a time to chat. You can also just let me know you want to schedule an appointment and I will get you on the books.
Where are your offices located?
I have two convenient locations in Central Florida - one in Winter Park and one in Lake Mary. Once we schedule your first appointment, I'll send you the exact address and parking details for your preferred location.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes! I offer secure virtual therapy sessions for Florida residents who prefer meeting online or can't make it to the office.
How long are therapy sessions?
Each session is around 50-53 minutes long.
What can I expect in our first session?
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and make sure we're a good fit. No pressure - just an honest conversation about how we might work together.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you progress, we can adjust this based on your needs and goals.
What's your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or miss your appointment, you'll be charged the full self-pay rate of $125. This policy helps ensure I can maintain time for all my clients who need support.
Is everything I share confidential?
Absolutely. Everything we discuss is completely confidential, with a few legal exceptions that I'll explain in our first session. Your privacy and safety are my top priorities.
What's your approach to therapy?
I believe in keeping things real and practical. We'll work together to understand what's going on, develop strategies that actually work for your life, and help you find your balance again. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR for trauma and CBT for various challenges.
Do I have to know what type of therapy I need?
Not at all! That's what our first session (and even our free consultation) is for. We'll talk about what's going on in your life and figure out the best approach together. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, we'll create a plan that makes sense for you.
